Last updated: May 14, 2026
Introduction
These General Terms apply to your use of Expressly, including the mobile app, website, and related services.
By using Expressly, you agree to these terms.
What Expressly Is
Expressly is a communication practice app. It helps users practice real-life situations, answer by voice or text, and receive AI-powered feedback on clarity, tone, confidence, and communication patterns.
Expressly is designed as a training and self-improvement tool. It is not a replacement for therapy, legal advice, medical advice, crisis support, professional coaching, or workplace/legal representation.
Use of the Service
You agree to use Expressly lawfully, respectfully, and only for its intended purpose.
You must not abuse the service, overload systems, scrape data, attempt to bypass usage limits, reverse engineer the app, interfere with security, or use Expressly to harass, threaten, manipulate, or harm others.
Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date where needed.
We may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is being misused, used fraudulently, or used in a way that harms the service or other users.
AI Feedback
AI feedback is generated automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific situation.
You are responsible for how you use any suggested wording in real conversations.
You should not rely on Expressly for urgent, legal, medical, psychological, safety-critical, or high-risk decisions.
Practice Content
Scenarios, lessons, rewrites, and feedback are provided for communication training purposes.
Some scenarios may involve sensitive topics such as conflict, gaslighting, boundaries, workplace pressure, family tension, or relationship communication.
If a situation involves danger, abuse, threats, self-harm, medical concerns, legal problems, or emergency circumstances, seek appropriate professional or emergency help.
Free and Paid Features
Expressly may offer both free and paid features.
Free usage may include limits on feedback, advanced feedback, voice features, lessons, scenarios, retries, or other functionality.
Paid plans may include higher limits, additional scenarios, advanced feedback, no ads, or other premium features.
Feature availability, limits, and pricing may change over time.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Subscriptions and one-time purchases may be offered through the Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or other payment providers.
Billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment disputes may be handled by the platform or payment provider used for the purchase.
You are responsible for managing your subscription through the relevant app store or payment provider where applicable.
Intellectual Property
Expressly, including its design, branding, software, content, and features, is owned by Kamil Wolski / KAMILWOLSKI.NL or its licensors.
You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reproduce, or create derivative products from Expressly without permission.
User Content
You keep ownership of the answers, text, and practice content you submit.
By submitting content, you give Expressly permission to process it as needed to provide feedback, progress tracking, advanced analysis, and app functionality.
You must not submit illegal content, content that infringes others' rights, or content intended to abuse the service.
Availability
We aim to keep Expressly available and working well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Features may be changed, limited, paused, removed, or updated as the product develops.
Limitation of Liability
Expressly is provided as-is and as available.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for losses resulting from your use of AI feedback or suggested wording.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using Expressly at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, misuse the app, attempt to bypass security or limits, or create risk for Expressly or others.
Changes to Terms
We may update these General Terms from time to time.
If changes are significant, we may notify users through the app, website, or another reasonable method.
